Water feature

Several communities in rural South Africa are suffering without water or with bad quality water.

Since the beginning of the year we have done a lot of stories about this issue. The ongoing drought and failing infrastructure causes some communities to be without water for long periods.


Letta Maseko, from Silobela in Carolina, Mpumalanga, transports water from a borehole in a wheelbarrow.  They do have running water at home but claims the water makes them sick



The Al-Imbaad foundation sick several boreholes in die Silobela area so people can have clean drinking water.
