I went back to Grahamstown (where I studied a lifetime ago) this weekend to shoot some of the productions at the National Arts Festival.

The talent in South Africa is incredible and we saw amazing productions and art.  The highlight for me was Sylvaine Strike and Atandwa Kani in Black and Blue.  The story was poignant, the set amazing and the acting powerful.

The range of productions and exhibitions at the festival is huge.  I wish I had more time to shoot but will definitely be back next year.

The festival is on till Sunday 13 July.
